- The Art School of Valladolid is designing a new website, and the English Department is looking for an image that captures the essence of the Anglo-Saxon world. Thus, we have decided to organize a small contest, whose rules are as follows:
1. WHO CAN TAKE PART?: Any student from the 1st and 2nd years of Bachillerato, and from the 1st and 2nd years of Illustration.
2. WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO?: the participants have to create an ORIGINAL work of art that will then appear on the website of the Art School. The image must be related to the Anglo-Saxon world and try to capture the essence of the British world.
3. TECHNIQUES: any technique can be used, as long as it can be later turned into an image: photographs, sculptures, drawings, collage, etc. Should you decide to submit your work of art on paper, remember that the biggest paper size possible is A4 (so that it can be scanned afterwards). If you decide to submit a picture, please use a common file format and a good resolution.
4. SUBMISSIONS: the deadline to submit the pieces of work is 5th April 2019. Send them to patriciajmp4@gmail.com or give them to any of the English teachers.
5. RULES:
A) You must include your name at the back of the work of art or in the name of the file you send.
B) It must be an ORIGINAL work of art.
C) By submitting your pieces, you are implicitly giving the Art School of Valladolid the right to publish them on their website (always making reference to its author)
6. PRIZE:
- The winner will receive €20 to be spent on drawing equipment at TOTEM. Besides, their piece of work will appear on the new website of the Art School.
7. JURY:
- An independent panel of experts will vote for the best piece of art.
